Christian Siriano Spring 2012

Even though this particular collection has gotten love/hate because of the simplicity of some of the items, I absolutely adore every piece! I love the basic neutrals used and then the pops of neon colors used in either the shoes or whole garments towards the end of the show. Christian doesn't fail with his love of tulle appliques and big skirts because he slowly incorporated these into short dresses with accents at the bust or shoulders and slowly morphed that into full skirts and such. Also instead of having a full skirt for every look like previous collections he mixed it up with streamline maxi skirts, fitted shirts, and skimpy tube top esq dresses. Overall bravo!
